Rotating illusion "Rotating snakes" Circular snakes appear to rotate 'spontaneously'. "Candies" The two concentric arrays of "candies" appear to rotate in the different directions when we approach or move away from the figure while fixating at the center. "Absorption" The surround appears to move to the center. Moreover, the inset and surround appear to rotate in the different directions when observers approach or move away from the figure while fixating at the center. "Cogwheels" The outer ring appears to rotate clockwise while the inner one counterclockwise. "Stealthy rotation" The circle appears to rotate counterclockwise when seen in peripheral vision. "A waterwheel" The ring appears to rotate clockwise, slowly. This effect is stronger in peripheral vision "Sheep" Rings of sheep appear to rotate slowly. "Umbrellas" The circles in front appear to rotate counterclockwise. "Co-op" Circles appear to rotate. An op effect (scintillating lustre) is also included. "Caprice rotation" The left and right half circles appear to rotate sometimes. Moreover, the rotation is not always synchronized among concentric circles. They sometimes appear to expand. "Boats" The ring of boats appears to rotate slowly. The direction is clockwise. "Rotating checks" Illusory radial lines appear to rotate. In addition, the inner circle appears to rotate clockwise when seen in peripheral vision. "Allergen" Circles appear to rotate. "A tire" The two concentric arrays of S-shaped figures appear to rotate in the different directions when we approach or move away from the figure while fixating at the center.* "A crab in the autumn color swamp" The ring region appears to rotate when we approach or move away from the figure while fixating at the center. "Neural circuits" The two concentric arrays of stars appear to rotate in the different directions when we approach or move away from the figure while fixating at the center. "Rotation of primroses" The two concentric arrays of "flowers" appear to rotate in the different directions when we approach or move away from the figure while fixating at the center. "A loop line"
The two concentric lines appear to rotate in the different directions when we approach or move away from the figure while fixating at the center. "Tubes" The two rings appear to rotate in the different directions when we approach or move away from the figure while fixating at the center. 3D street artists are becoming ever more popular, but their sidewalk chalk art isn’t the only 3D art of its kind. Inside a home, on the outside of a building or even in a swimming pool, the illusion of three-dimensionality can transform a space, giving the appearance of depth, texture and place in a mythical or fantastical fashion. Eric Grohe creates surprising illusions of far-reaching spaces out of otherwise flat surfaces. In some of these images of his works, it is difficult to see what is within the picture he created and what is in the real foreground. Though not strictly photorealistic, his plays on perspective feel compellingly real from a distance. This mystery artist clearly has an eye for classical and medieval scenes. His paintings both enliven these otherwise conventional interior spaces, creating amazing conversation pieces and great play spaces for children. If anyone knows who this is, please add information and links in the comments! 3D pool art is a bit more on the playful side of 3D residential art. Composed of custom tiles, these creations can be purchased in standard patterns or made to order for specific pools. Do you know of other amazing 3D illusion art or know who the mystery artist is?
